Girls Rock! sounds like the best movie to be coming out in a long time. In a society when even the littlest girls are told that they have to be pretty and thin and popular, and where plummeting self-esteem is the rule, this Girls Rock Camp takes them and shows them how to be confident and real. They play instruments, form a band and perform in front of a real audience, all in a matter of days.
My favorite part is where the little 8 year old is all, "Let's RAWK!" It made me wish I was a girl again, so I could have done this. I totally would have rocked out like Joan Jett.
