I went to this article today about American Apparel leaving special inventory chips on clothing. And while the idea of a chip sitting around unactivated on my clothing gives me the creeps, the article is more entertaining for the comments after.
Since it has to do with chips and monitoring, I was going to count how many comments it took for someone to metion either 1984 or the satanic conspiracy outlined in revelations to chip us all. Luckily, it didn't take that long. The first comment was already on about the New World Order, and it devolved into the government eating babies and how Big Brother Watches Us All.
I make fun of paranoid crazies, but I will promise you all this: if there is a rapture, I PROMISE not to let them chip me afterwards. For reals.
