5.01.2005 ||> Night at the ballet
Last week, I called him up and asked him if he would like to see a performance of Carmina Burana. He answered, "absolutely!" which won him huge brownie points. So I called up the box office and got two tickets, surprisingly close to the stage.
Yesterday we got all gussied up (finally able to wear my Thai silk dress!) and went. There were three ballets for the night, but we were late, so we missed the first one. I sort of felt like we had missed the opening band at the concert. Its not the worst thing that could happen, but a bit disappointing.
The performance was amazing, the dancing was superb. My date also looked very nice, and it was nice to feel cosmopolitan again.
